Quadrilaterals with Robots
I originally created this lesson plan on quadrilaterals for my math teaching methods class, EDIS 5450. To tech enhance this lesson, I added an optional component using ozobots.

I originally created this lesson in conjunction with my mentor teacher to teach students about symmetry, reflections, and translations. I modified it to include a origami activity that utilized nearpod, and videos I created.
The second week of EDIS 5070, we had to create our own website. Since I already had this site, I set up a section for my tech proficiencies, and drafted a teaching philosophy.
This week we learned about virtual field trips, and VR technology. I really wanted to find a virtual field trip of the Smithsonian Sculpture Garden, but there wasn’t one available. I settled on the Census Bureau, which turned out to be pretty cool!
For our final tech proficiency, we got to mess with robots. I had a lot of fun playing with the beebots and the ozobots. I chose to focus my tech proficiency around the beebots, and my tech enhanced lesson plan on the ozobots.
